Hawaii Kai – If you happened to be driving in Hawaii Kai last Sunday and noticed a bunch of cool hot rods at Maunalua Bay, it's because the Wanderers Car Club were having a small get together picnic for their members. Although it was not an announced event, passers-by's were free to take in what could have very well been mistaken for an outdoor mini car show.

The scenery was certainly set for it, packing in at least nine to ten of the most striking street rods on Oahu, not to mention the remarkable view of Koko Head and Maunalua Bay.

For anyone who is not familiar about how most street rodders spend their Sunday afternoon in Hawaii, just take a look at the photos. Hot rods, big white fluffy clouds and a tropical breeze that will sweep your troubles (if you have any) right into the ocean.. Isn't this the best example of living in paradise that there is? Now pass me that Corona, I'm not the designated driver only the writer.
