Honolulu Hi. — Uniqueness Counts. Alvin & Darlene Caldeira's 1971 Blown V8 VW is certainly something you don't see much of. How do you suppose they were able to wrap that little Volkswagen Beetle around a blown small block Chevy anyway?

.

Kaneohe Hi. — "OUSOBAD" says the license plate on Chris Barretto's 1933 Willys Coupe and we couldn't agree more. Chris said in an email to Honolulu Streets that once he brought his ride home he broke out the torch and went to work installing a new Mustang II front-end with tubular A-arms and billet coilovers.

.

Nanakuli Hi.  Donald Jose and family know the true meaning of a hot rod because for starters, his kids painted their 1981 Chevy half-ton pickup in their Nanakuli home garage then added some wild eye catching flames. When it came time to combine the right hot rod hardware Donald took over and built a bulletproof drivetrain, which includes a .30-over 454 engine, Muncie 4-speed transmission and a very stout Ford 9in rear-end. Donald's wife also added something to his truck and perhaps the most important piece by naming it; "The Beast".

Pearl City Hi.  Ron and Evelyn Yamaguchi took their homegrown 1932 Ford 2-dr Sedan on an eleven-week Dream Cruise across America last year and they wanted to share their story. Thanks Ron!
