HONOLULU
HI. Aloha, Its that
time of the year for all car enthusiasts to rev their engine and
cruise into the 5th Annual Pearl Harbor Auto Show. Mark your
calendar for Sunday, May 6. This event promises bigger and better
car categories and prizes, along with the much-coveted trophies.
This
year, the event will benefit the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS),
a nonprofit organization that assists military families in need.
There will be a $12 tax-deductible entry fee that will be donated
directly to the NMCRS.
Pre-registration
will begin in early March. At that time, registration forms will be
available at Checker Auto Parts stores island-wide. To register,
simply fill out the form, make your check or money order out to
NMCRS and mail it in the provided self-addressed envelope. We will
send your pre-registration packet in the mail with the proper Auto
Show identification that will allow you access to the event.
On
the day of the event, we will have designated times allotted with
controlled access for entrance to the event. Clubs will have
exclusive access from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Festival parking will
be from 7:30 a.m. until the lot is full. Additionally, clubs will be
able to reserve an additional stall for a nominal fee to display
their pride, banners and tents. This fee will also go towards the
NMRCS.
All
entry forms must be received no later than April 15. If you have any
