808 Speed Shop to host swap meet

HONOLULU HI. 808 Speed Shop's Marty Lau along with Tad Matsuno
from Pacific Rod and Street, Hawaii's authorized Mooneyes dealer,
will be holding a hot rod swap meet Sunday, January 24th 2010
at Marty's shop from Noon to 4pm. 808 Speed Shop is located at
98-025 Hekaha Street unit #23 / 24 Aiea, Hawaii 96701.
"The swap meet was kind of a last
minute thing that Tad and I came up with" said Lau. "I had an open
house in October and the turnout was pretty good, from there
everyone started asking for another event."
Details about the swap meet havent
really been worked out yet but Marty said hes gonna keep it small,
maybe ten or so vendors and possibly a trophy for best Kustom. "I
may chop a top live or something cool like that" said Marty.
